I used to be drawn only to darker wood, now it seems the trend is moving, yet again, to lighter softer woods. I love the mix in these two pictures of rustic elements with the clean modern lines, it's very refreshing. I like how the rooms have added dimension by using different shades of wood, it helps draw the eye around the space. Even though these rooms feel very minimal there is enough going on that you are drawn to different elements throughout the space. I of course can not get enough of crystal chandeliers, this proves once again that any space can be dressed up and look better with some added glamour, and it doesn't distract too much from the stillness of the space.
